Please review the following information about campaign contributions in Ontario.

Contributions may only come from individuals who are residents of Ontario.

Corporations, businesses, trade unions and associations cannot contribute directly to a candidate.

The maximum contribution to Mario is $1,200 per individual.

An individual may contribute no more than $5,000 total to candidates running for the same school board.

Contributions over $25 must use a traceable payment method; an electronic transfer can satisfy this requirement.

If a person’s total contributions to the campaign exceed $100, their name and address must appear on the candidate’s public financial statement.
